Priest
#1
I can't believe that no one has mentioned this. And I include myself, because I've seen it several times. Catching a few minutes of it recently made me think of posting.

The story is pretty basic (from a comic): alternative reality where humans are in an endless war with vampires. The humans find/train the priests, who are great vampire fighters, and win. But not quite....

It looked good and had pretty good action. I thought sort of a City of Lost Children (also one of my faves) kind of feel in the city scenes. There was a fairly unique religion/guilt aspect to it that I thought was clever. And I thought the male lead was good. Plus a cameo by Christopher Plummer.

I worked on it. Does that count for anything?
As a matter of fact, my anger does keep me warm

You know, I never saw Priest. I was invited to a screener but couldn't go, and just never got back to it. Maggie Q is in that, right? I had lunch with Daniel Wu and he told me some hysterical stories about her. They were quite an item in Hong Kong at one time.
