Temeraire series by Novik

Haggis-Killer turned me on to these and they are a ton of fun. Basically an alternate history of the Napoleonic era, but with dragons. Think "Master & Commander" with dragons. Very good attention to the attitudes and history of the era.

Well worth checking out from one of those Socialist honey-traps called "Libraries" or picking up cheap
In the Tudor Period, Fencing Masters were classified in the Vagrancy Laws along with Actors, Gypsys, Vagabonds, Sturdy Rogues, and the owners of performing bears.

Hmmm, tQ and I have read all of these. Odd there are no reviews. I've kind of given up on the series after the fifth book.
So much for the flickr badge idea. Dammit

HK said the same thing. I reached book #5 and decided that that was enough for now.
