HuluPlus or Hulu+ or something
#1
So online streaming giant Hulu was offering 2 mos of Hulu+(plus) for free.

I'm all for giving credit card info to various companies in exchange for free stuff so I signed up.

So far I have been watching strange documentaries (Japanese arcades and subliminal advertising) but haven't dived into the Criterion foreign films or obscure anime.

No Dr. Who, no 30 Rock but the quality has been top-notch. It's like having a Camera One theater on demand. I think 8 bucks a month might be worth having a plethora of weird-ass movies and anime at my fingertips.

Do they still make you sit thru commercials? I cancelled my Hulu + subscription in favor of using Netflix streaming because of that.
Before you criticize someone, walk a mile in their shoes. That way when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

You get commercials for new TV shows, like last week's SNL or whatev. None for the movies. I like Hulu+ because it has a lot of odd titles, especially that Criterion collection, and a ton of classic samurai movies. Netflix is better for Bollywood and Kung Fu flicks. Hulu+'s search engine sux on AppleTV. but I'm finding plenty of stuff to watch. And like Netflix, when you consider you're only paying a few bucks a month to stream, I get my money's worth in a few days.

I got commercials for the episodes of "Buffy" (TV) I watched on Hulu+, but did not get commercials on Netflix. If paying a monthly fee to access the same stuff, I prefer not to be subjected to commercials that I can't skip or fast forward through!

The Criterion collection is huge. That's the big sell point for Hulu+ for me. Netflix is still interesting to me however, as they have a few odd gems, like all the Bond films, which you can't even rent on iTunes. You have to buy them for like $10 a pop. Plus netflix has a better search engine. We bounce between the three platforms.

Ok, I confess. I'm a total Gleek. It's all about Britany and Santana. If those two ever got into a swordfight, it would be the greatest episode ever. Heart

I love Kurt. There, I said it. It's a toss up who is a better singer (Unique or Kurt) but Kurt can own Madonna.

Actually I just like that there is a show like this. As the series goes on the terrible branding and song selection deteriorates but it was the first prime-time show I ever saw that had two guys kiss.

Also, a show that turns the young'uns on to Rocky Horror buys a ton of street cred.

Colfer is into ninjitsu. He loves sai. He even had a sai scene in one of his Glee dance numbers.
