'twas Peggy O that turned me on to Faster Pussycat Kill! Kill!. She was totally into the flick - understandably so. We saw it as a double bill with Beyond the Valley of the Dolls and Meyer spoke after at some club. When he came in, he looked over Peggy, then, figuring she was my date, whispered covertly to me "nice pair". I don't think I ever told her that. I figured it would go straight to her head and that's the last thing we'd need.

Wouldn't it be nice if we could direct the statements we make to the right part of the person's body?

Quote:Ms. Satana’s portrayal of Varla as a brazenly violent but unapologetically feminine woman who frequently upbraids the men who dare to ogle her — when a gas-station attendant tells her he believes in “seeing America first,” Varla replies, “You won’t find it down there, Columbus!”
Actually, I think I did tell Peggy O about that, now that I think about it. She might have forgotten we even went to that together. It was really an odd thing, in retrospect. It was just the two of us. That's probably the only movie we ever went to together, except for a showing of Residents short films on the Haight, and that was with a group of friends (including KB & Mrs. KB) and it wound up totally catastrophic.
