Once again I find myself going to dinner with a priest and attending Wednesday night mass. Good thing I won't have to attend another mass until, well, Thursday.

Look at all my trials and tribulations, sinking in a gentle pool of wine.

In news that isn't news: Cranky

Yesterday, a friend of my mother's stopped by so they could go out to lunch. This friend was at great pains to tell me how good my mother was at dealing with children, when they were at the same school together.

I'll let that sink in.

Today, I've been invited to go look at cemetery plots.

Just got a letter in the mail from Trident Society.
They're offering free pre-paid cremations.

Let me repeat that to myself a few times: free pre-paid cremation.
Free. Pre-paid. Cremation.

It looks like I will be extending my stay in Saratoga through next Thursday rather than coming home on Monday as planned. My mother is going into the hospital for an extended stay to take anti-biotics intravenously because her bladder infection is proving to be drug resistant.

On the same day this occurred, my father woke up in excruciating back pain. He gave 10 as the answer to the 1-10 scale, couldn't get out of bed. He is now on a regimen of muscle relaxants.

Good times.

We already gave away our extra U2 tix. Too bad because that would have been a nice break for you. Hope things settle down. Let me know if you need anything special this weekend, aside from the HD and potstickers.

I got from TCEC&KFTCD > U2 > Cali Roots (then BottleRock the following weekend). At least I can work your butt off at TCEC&KFTCD to take your mind off things.
