Our elderly dog has a prescription for Loxicam for when she's stiff and in pain. Seems to help, but it's liquid so a little hard to administer.

It's tough seeing her struggle to get up. But once she's up, she's good to go. For instance, she was good to go for a run around the neighborhood, when she bolted by the Queen on Saturday and out the front door.

Good news. She just has a compressed disk. She has great hips for a dog her age. She's also full of gas.

You might look into CBD remedies. There are many available now for dogs. It gave our pom some relief when he began to fade.

I did some research on the CBD oil. Unfortunately, very little research has been done yet and all the available info on efficacy is anecdotal, and there have been no studies on dosage or possible toxicity. The AKC suggests if you’re going to try it, to use a tincture, not an edible.
Before you criticize someone, walk a mile in their shoes. That way when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

'anecdotally' both yielded results, as did the cbd with the pom. first one's freeeeeeeeeeee (actually no, not free...cbd tinctures can get pricey but you can get them at cvs now)

Someone is too busy with the new doggo to post a pic or provide gossip...
And that’s pretty much how it should be.
