Yeti-scaping complete, heading over to Harriett’s to start my 7-Day Weekend (minimum). I could use the break as that Summer Camp grind was intense. +/- 40 lessons over 6 days, but shorter hours, so very much go-go-go. I have been struggling with the depression more in the last month or so, so maybe the break will let me get back to a normal sleep schedule.

Did have an interesting zoom coaches meeting. The tension between “we’re a small service business” and “we must achieve Great Things” is always there and some of the coaches are only really just starting to get it.

It’s weirdly reassuring to hear I’m not the only one suffering depression. Stay strong, brother.

Day 146: Today is Yuki’s next round of shots so it’s up to sf, then maybe a stop at my mom’s on the way back so she can meet him.

I am here to hear if you need anyone to talk to. Or I can send you a kitten.

Like does anyone do that anymore? Isn't it all about posting pix on sitonmyfacebook to make other peeps jelly (and let thieves know your crib is unoccupied?)

So here's a thing. I send 3 postcards whenever I traveled for tournaments to ETC (my mom Enid, my daughter Tara and my wife Stacy). And earlier this year, my tournament itinerary was looking pretty full. So I bought a pack of postcard stamps...

In today's good news, our property manager secured a tenant. The lease is signed and they are moving in this weekend, meaning we only lost two weeks of rent. The prior tenant left the place in decent shape - everything was covered by the deposit and we returned most of it.

Yay. Money.

On my last trip to Ireland, I resolved to send tons of postcards. I did buy the postcards......

They don’t count if they aren’t sent from where they’re from...

Day 147: fbu telemeeting and some work (feeling insecure about my upcoming trial period review in two weeks). Also still working on the 2nd Den article which is proving to be much more laborious than anticipated. Then off to my mom’s like usual.

Yesterday wasn’t nearly as productive as I had hoped. Yuki was very disruptive and I was dealing with allergies (still am this morning).

Hasn't the heat laid waste to any pollen particles left in the state?

Good luck, my friend. To the word mines. My word mine day yesterday was not particularly productive.

Damn, I wish. Instead it seems to have triggered some sort of floral orgy. Feckin plant perverts. Fornicators! Get a damn room!

Holy cats. I'm in Si valley at my mom's and it's 97 degrees. I can see the smoke plumes from the fire in the east bay. It's hazy and hot... a little taste of hell.

Your Salinas fires are looking huge. 3 plumes yesterday, now just a wall of smoke, enough to start making its own w4ather, it looks like.
