I don't mind getting up before the sun. I, actually, prefer it. But I would like the time between my waking and the sun rising to stop lengthening. I like the second dog walk to be in the light.

Friday chaos.
We have Bottles, Bri's dog, because Tara & Bri are headed to LA this weekend for some Law school event. Yuki + Bottles means chaos.
On top of that, I was trying to help solve a problem that one of my coworkers had but she didn't describe it properly and I stepped on a landmine because it was a special case. That crashed my admin access completely. And like I mentioned, our IT guy died. We have only a temp specialist that's helping us out with this. Chaos I say.
I'm heading to SC Kaiser to get some shots and book some stuff. Not those kind of shots, sadly. But afterwards I'm meeting with our Iaido nooB for coffee at 11th hour. He's an interesting cat - very active in community issues and is fb friends with some of my local friends. That should be nice.
Then home to catch up on the work I lost this morning. Or maybe just put it off until later and drink whiskey instead.

In the Tudor Period, Fencing Masters were classified in the Vagrancy Laws along with Actors, Gypsys, Vagabonds, Sturdy Rogues, and the owners of performing bears.

Well hell. My coffee appointment got exposed to covid so he's out. YMAA built a silly workaround for me to access admin, but I'll have to rebuild all my stored files. With all the chaos, I forgot to alert my mom's care center about Stacy coming over (but that should be ok). Today has been a mess. Time for shots.

Time for some shots to alleviate the side effects of my shots.

I got Covid & flu. My right deltoid is hecka sore and my tinnitus is still up plus I feel off but not too bad. I slept well last night.
Today I’m just chilling. No Kung Fu (they cancelled class and then uncancelled it but I’m out). Might do an online yoga class with Stacy. Might play with the dogs. Symphony tonight!

I did flu a month ago. The Queen tried to get five vaccines when she was in Fresno. Only got three. Still wiped her out.

I’m ok but I’m going to rest today using the shots as an excuse. We went to the Farmer’s market where I got a lovely oat milk Capp and a veggie gallette that was hefty (too many carrots) so I only ate half and am saving the rest for tomorrow. We stocked up on Shoch cheese, which is super expensive but so rich that a tiny slab goes a long way - they’re our local dairy supplier and make kick ass yogurt & butter.
I might do laundry. I might write a bit. I might just keep chillin with the dogs. Going to take a hot epsom salt bath as soon as I get out of the easy chair…

Love the Schoch (pronounced "shock") cheese and yogurt. They're our go to as well. I pass by their dairy on the outskirts of Salinas on 101 on my way to and from work every week.

Not to be confused with Shockley (pronounced cranefly)
We were just commenting how when we first started hitting up the farmers market, the son in the father & son booth team was a little boy. Now he’s nearly a man with a stache even. Just steered getting into their butter. I need to try their Greek yogurt soon. Definitely one of the true gems of MoBay. Nice that you concur, tg.
