That Shakedown Street cover needs some huge reggae style bass to take it to the next level. Speaking of which, I recently read that Paul Simenon cited Leroy Sibbles of The Heptones as an inspiration, saying he wanted a huge bass sound like that.

I'm pondering a Burning Spear-ish take on Morning Dew, but I haven't started working on it yet. The groove is slowly taking shape in my brain.
