We'd have problems then because no one can agree what generation we belong to. I kind of like the "Generation Jones" label.

My vax#2 is scheduled for APR 14. So at least, I'm ahead of the throng.

Got my second on Thursday in the tent at Kaiser on Homestead. I forgot my card but they weren't concerned about it. My arm was sorer this time than last time. I was a bit tired the next day - cut my workout short, but still got in a good sprint while rowing - but no other symptoms. I think I had the virus last March, so maybe that's why I didn't have much trouble.

Cranefly: 2 doses of Moderna + 14 days, so I'm fully vaccinated.
BTW, on the recent ZOOM with friend Carol and her folks and relatives, her folks and all 3 nieces (above my age) are all fully vaccinated, and none had negative reactions to the second dose.
So I seem to be an outlier in my age bracket. Very puzzling...

I was Pfizer, which I have heard does not hit people as hard.

I started hitting the recommended ca.gov sites list night just before midnight. Every site has different forms. Some hadn't been updated with the new 50+ eligibility requirements and wouldn't let me register. Those that did said there were no appointments available for the next N days (where N was 4 on some sites and other sites 30). Safeway/Albertsons let you search by radius and said there were no appointments within 50 miles.
...back to the ca.gov site...it added CSUMB (just down the street) as a site. I found an appointment for today at 9:30am, but when I selected it, it was no longer available. No other appointments
...back to the ca.gov site...followed a link to the Salinas Valley Memorial site. This is the most sketchy-looking official website I've seen. The URL was a very scammy looking: "mychart-openscheduling.et1146.epichosted.com"
The site hadn't been updated in weeks: "Please note: The COVID-19 vaccine is not yet available for the general public. New COVID-19 vaccination guidelines were released by the Monterey County Health Department on March 17. The vaccine is available to tier 1B, which includes all Monterey County residents 16 to 64 years of age"
...but I managed to schedule a stabbing for this afternoon. No idea which vaccine it is.

Polio!
The Queen was over the moon excited to get an appointment for a Pfizer shot this weekend. It's especially good since we travel next week to Florida for her Step-Father's memorial service.

At Kaiser, it was total luck of the draw. They were shooting people with both and it was based on where you were in line.
As a foot note, I'm putting together a KFM interview and the interviewee is a pilot who's had covid and says he's not getting the vax. It's an annoying side note, but in fairness, I must include it.

LCF just got scheduled for #1 (unknown sea monster) at Walgreens (on El Camino near Grant Rd.) at 1 pm.
I guess there's a facebook Vaccine Hunters group that she tapped into.
