I’m halfway through s2 now but it’s not engaging me as much as before. I still like its skewering of fanaticism and this season’s twist of resurrection and damned babies complicates the religious dogma well. Honestly, Ive lost track of a few of the characters so that is muddling my view, detracting from me being able to follow it all. Plus I’ve dozed off in each ep, not out of boredom but exhaustion. Merc, the season and the holidays without the promise of some default world escape, it’s all draining me.
