Flying on a plane later but that’s about it. Altitude is giving me headaches.

Leaving DEN. Fascinating experience to see the pot scene and such a strange martial community. Got some good networking done and enjoyed the company (including Kisu). Bitter with Tom’s passing. Now I feel really parched and dry from the thin air.

And I’m repeating myself for some weird reason

Flight delay but I’m home at 2am

Not quite what I expected of the weekend, more of a wilder card than anticipated.

Hopefully in a good way. Welcome home.

It was good. It was a small event but the biggest one ever in Denver. My presence helped unify to fragmented community there and many told me of how honored they were that I came and how much they loved the mag - they even cited articles so I know they were genuine. And here I thought it was the altitude and the herb that made me so parched. But no. It was all the smoke they were blowing up my ass <cue DOOM chide : ‘you’re smoking it wrong, bro’> But srsly, it was kind of weird being the biggest vip in the room and getting so much gratuitous fawning. I’m grateful for the luv and that it wasn’t successful.

Did I miss something in this thread, or is that an errant negative?

Don't bring Mothra into this, mkay?  When I was young, I thought Mothra was the dumbest Kaiju after Gamera, but now I realize Mothra was super cool. I mean, he had the Japanese version of the Shining Twins.  That's so cool.

No, as being super popular at all the tournaments!

Retirement is for the weak. Or people that have sound financial planning.

Getting back to Mothra (because ultimately everything is about Mothra), another cool thing about her, beyond the twins, is that while all the other monsters are bellowing at the top of their radioactive larynxes, Mothra doesn't have much of a voice, and most of the time she just soars about with this haunting ringing vibration sound.  She's more the ninja of the group -- or maybe abbot is closer.  She's this mesmerizing meditative entity projecting peace and tranquility while raining down death and destruction on all.

Or am I misremembering things?  Mothra's a she, right?  Oh, and to circle this back to topic, I bet she's laid eggs throughout the mountains of Colorado.

And in DM.

Mothra transcends gender.

Actually, perhaps she did lay eggs.

It's really all about those creepy twins.
