Sheltering in Place
Pizza Christmas ™ !!!!!

Meeting bros at Jake's at 1:00, then meeting up with another couple for coffee & catching up immediately afterwards at a decent hipster coffee place in Cupertino. Back to the city after.

Dammit. I thought I had an 8am meeting but I do not. I work at 6, stayed cozy in bed and turned off my alarm just before 7, then surfed the web absent-mindedly until I realized I better get up, break my fast and get some caffeine in me. I just sat down to my 'puter and realized I could be back in bed. This week is started out poorly.

Taking my car in for service this morning, with a stop at the post office to drop some things off on the way. Probably hit the used bookstore and the library later, and do a little pruning in the yard.

895-177: Today I have an 8AM meeting. Then I must crunch to get everything in place for me to work off my laptop and pack for a few days, head to pick up my mom's xmas mail early and visit my mom, head to SF and catch up to Stacy & Yuki who are meeting with Bottles, check in to the Inn at the Presidio for two nights, then meet with Tara & Bri for the Nutcracker. Xmas comes early.

Returned to my cave this morning: 47 degrees inside. Sigh. Later hit bookstore to swap read for unread + $, then coffee, then the shop to send out last order fir xmas, then base stabbery for a few hours, then back home.

Tuesday will be the shop, stabbery, lesson with H, then home

As a matter of fact, my anger does keep me warm

Winter Solstice. No plans. Might go to the used bookstore later; I've got a bag of stuff to trade.

896.178: When JK Rowling was finishing up Harry Potter, her publisher put her up at some swanky NY hotel with full room service so she could work. Today, I'm at Inn at the Presidio again. No one is putting me up and I can't afford room service. And I have no looming monster deadline, just the usual endless deadlines. But I am at a nice Inn and working here for the day. It's a decent way to celebrate solstice for me...

You can smack my...

Oh wait, Tara is working there today, right? Never mind.

I doubt I'll be by. Too early, like pizza....

TG and I camped at the Presidio when we were in Boy Scouts. The campground was next to an ammo dump, and there were lights on and armed guards patrolling all night.

But too early for pizza?

I’m off to the inn’s complementary wine & cheese.

They better give you good compliments.

Yes, too early for pizza. Unless it is delivered.
