Speaking of theremins - I may have mentioned this elsewhere - I got my nephew a theremin kit for Christmas. Then I'll see if it's something I want for myself. On the downside, it's pretty small, but on the plus side, you don't have to solder anything - it's all snap in components.

Cool! Let us know. I've always wanted a theremin. I think I could play one. Then again, I thought I could play a digeridoo.
That's about half price of the cheapest ones I've seen out there.
