...it felt really dated. i never owned the comic. ed lent me his initially. i remember being totally blown away - it was those ed moments back in the day that solidified my respect for his artistic tastes and has allowed me to tolerate him showing footage of defecating musician and scab-eating dwarves - all in hopes of another watchmen.
the edition i just read was the 'loaner' edition of on of our graphic artists here. i was rather underwhelmed. i see what impressed me so long ago, but now, well, it's just a comic - a pivotal comic - but just a comic. that being said, i think it'll make a great flick, but i doubt i'll run out to see it.
