An absolutely great read. Thompson is a career travel writer, former editor of Travelocity's failed mag who worked for all the big guns like Maxim, etc. Hardcore travel & publishing B.S. He's a great writer with a keen eye for absurdity and wicked political satire. Travel and publishing speaks so directly to me, so this really worked. Top recommendations.
