Tuned back in for No Doubt. Still have a soft spot for their two tone sound. Always brings back fond memories of working the pit at the shark tank for their Rock Steady tour and standing right underneath Gwen.
Olivia Rodrigo just joined wearing a I *heart* N D T-shirt. Olivia sang rings around Gwen. But then, Gwen never had that great of a voice. It’s more about the energy she brings to the stage and she’s slowed down a bit from what I remember.
Their ska lacks that fierce tightness that ska demands. Still enjoy their glitz & pop take on it tho.
