The Art of the Straight Line My Tai Chi by Lou Reed
#17
Well that went extraordinarily well. Laurie was so flattering when introducing me. Turns out the one Tai Chi weapon she likes to practice is guandao. That’s so outrageously Laurie. There were 130 free tickets issued and the place holds 100 (there was a spill over room not shown in any pix). It was standing room only.

My Tai Chi intro was very well received and I had to peel myself away from the enthusaistic crowd afterwards to get to dinner with Tara & Bri.

All in all, a very positive experience.

I never rehearsed a lesson. I had a very rough idea of what I’d do but most of it was improv. I haven’t taught Tai Chi in over a quarter century, but it came back quickly.
