And for CF, some Toxic Masculinity.Yeah, maybe I'm mixing up terms and this is just a macho testosterone-driven wet-dream, but it sure feels toxic to me. I will admit, it's got great action, and it's a brilliant gorefest, and...
What follows that final "and" is what I would have liked, but it wasn't there.
The same goes for Ep 8, but I'm getting ahead of myself.
Ep6: Swarm. Visually the most arresting piece of animation. A lot of work went into this. I wasn't entirely satisfied with the denouement, but I almost never am.
Ep7: Mason's Rats. Farmer Mason has a rat problem. Technological warfare ensues. Lots of gore. Yeah, so much gore this year. Animation lends itself to gore so well.
Ep8: In Vaulted Halls Entombed. A military operation in what could be Afghanistan to kill insurgents and rescue a hostage. Well-done creatures, monsters, and gore (yeah, more gore). And alien architectures. But I didn't quite grok what was encountered and the why of everything. Though it did have a strong Cthulhu vibe.
Ep9: Jibaro. Have not seen. Saving for tonight, or whenever.
I'm nobody's pony.
