I really enjoyed this movie...I'm an Apollo/moon nerd, I admit it. But even so, I think other people will find this movie interesting/inspiring. It included footage that I hadn't seen before (particularly one sequence taken from a 2nd or 3rd stage separation where the camera was in the dumped stage shooting footage of the capsule as it continued toward the moon, and slowly it panned to the earth...Really well shot, but could have used "The Blue Danube" as accompanyment).
The movie had several of the Apollo astronauts (now in their 80's) telling their story. They did a good job of covering the whole Apollo program and not too heavily focused on missions 11 and 13.
I had read Michael Collins' book Carrying the Fire a few years ago (it's out of print, but i recommend it if you're into this stuff). His book covered the space program up to about '74. I always thought it should write another covering the period since (He was the director of the Nat'l Air & Space museum for a while). It was neat to see him talking on screen.
