Over the course of two nights, I watched this deep dive into Sparks. But as Edgar Wright pointed out, you don't really learn a lot about the Mael Brothers. I'm still not sure if I have Ron and Russel straight. I think Ron is the guy with the mustache. However, it's a great overview of all Spark's output. And it's done in a very interesting way. Lots of famous talking heads. The Mael brothers way in. I was reminded again that I first saw Sparks in the movie 'Roller Coaster'
They come across as very interesting and creative. They've had an amazing career. I just wish I liked anything I heard. There were a couple songs that got a maybe might listen to. I am curious about an album they did with Franz Ferdinand. But nothing that gives me the big wow/need to listen factor. Most of the talking heads said you really need to dive in and pay attention to the lyrics, but I don't know.
The story of Sparks is good even if you don't like or are familiar with their music.

As a matter of fact, my anger does keep me warm
