Yuki is moving out of his puppy stage, which is going by too fast. His fur is changing from that downy puppy fur to a more coarse dog fur, starting at his spine and now growing towards his belly. His snout has lengthened and the black mask of fur, which initially covered his whole snout, is lightening and moving more towards his nose and less under his eyes.
He's growing into a funny shapped dog. His head is abnormally big. His body is long, like a weiner dog. His legs are short, like a midget. His paws are still big for his legs. His front legs are shorter so he face plants a lot when running and playing. He has an odd running gate, more like a gallop trot, as if his legs aren't quite timed out correctly. His tail is absurdly long so when he wags it, his whole ass wags. That part is super cute.
He's getting more snuggly, and enjoys resting his bobble-like large head upon me if in reach. He likes head rests and narrow spaces like under the couch or the butcher block.
The two dogs in back are starting to play with him a little more. Joey is a big dopey dog who likes to play fetch and makes a point to pee copiously in Yuki's space (which is less than 5% of the yard) and poop right outside the gates. Yuki will stand up and grab his neck, and Joey will just push him down on his back being a much bigger dog. Joey will also steal any dog toy he finds and bury it. He's a slobbery old dog with several skin tumors and sorely needs a bath. Notchy is a grumpy bitch, always snorting like small snout dogs do. She chases Yuki agressively and Yuki stays out of range, but continues to taunt her. With both dogs, Yuki continues to pester them.
Stacy has started to call Yuki Harry after Harry the dirty dog. Yuki don't care. The name he responds to best is 'treat'.
