I took Yuki on 3 short walks today but he wouldn't have it. Twas too hot for the fuzz ball. He would only go as far as the next shady spot, even when enticed by treats. He's very slowly expanding the territory he feels comfortable with and at this point, it's about 3 houses in either direction, and only on the same side of the street.
No feral pigs but the raccoons are back.
We paid for my dearth of walkies at twilight when his night crazies hit. He was all bitey fangs and we had to retreat to the high ground. Imagine a toothy tasmanian tribble, running about biting everything. This is our twilight time now. The floor wasn't lava. It was a needle-fanged german pom. And he's growing so soon, he'll be able to reach our high ground (the futon and sofa - he can already get to us on the other chairs). What the heck have we let into our home?
This being said, when he's not Fangs McBitey, he can be very affectionate, resting his head on us in a cuddly fashion.
