#6 was curled like a dog turd on the walkway to our front door. Outside thankfully. The cat was lying facing it, bored with it's lack of animation. The snake seemed in fine shape, just a little sluggish, so I kicked it into the bushes. It just sat there, an easy target for the cat, so we locked the cat door. Well, we thought we did. The cat got in, but without #6.
In other cat news, a neighbor posted a lost cat notice that looked disturbingly like our cat, only it obviously wasn't because our cat has a little milk moustache on one side and this lost cat does not. Nevertheless a nosey neighbor brought the cat loser neighbor over in a most accusatory manner. The cat loser realised immediately that it wasn't her cat. We're now pissed that the nosey neighbor didn't beleive us. The lost cat notice is hung proudly on our bulletin board. No doubt, it's a half sibling of our cat.
