DVDs are super cheap to produce now. You can get templates for the DVD sticker and case inset, plus the cases, and print them out per order. We do that in-house for some of our titles.
We had a go-to DVD reproducer for our more popular titles, but he gave up the biz. He tried to sell the machinery to TC, but we balked at the price and condition. It was another Chinese connection.
BTW, did I ever share the Iron Horse Productions tale?
Hussars FTW!
That exclusive short was great! Engaging, revealing, humorous, and there's sword fighting. Luv it! An excellent teaser for yoru doc. Looking forward to posting it.
You ought to do a short that's just straight up on the Hussar sword combat - breakdown what you they showed you for a mini-doc, like an extra. I'd luv to see that and I'm sure you'd get eyeballs. I haven't seen that anywhere and the footage samples look like you shot some really good stuff, clear, well composed. Share it to the sword communities, the fencing communities and the martial communities. Not only would it be a good promo, it could be a fine stand-alone piece, something researchers and enthusiasts might reference, or at least share virally. The HEMA & historical fencing peeps would go nuts over that.
