I just came back from the bridge again. The flowers and angel statue from last night had already been removed. I left some white lilies but I doubt they’ll survive the weekend. That’s a very narrow and busy bridge. I’ll never be able to look at it again without thinking of Ben.

And yeah, dude could eat gobs of wasabi like it was popcorn.

Benjamin Doniach, 61, Fatally Struck by Vehicle on Murray Street Bridge

The accident happened on Tuesday at about 11:15 a.m.
Officials said Doniach was cycling his regular daily route when the incident occurred. The elderly cyclist allegedly veered into eastbound traffic on the bridge and was struck by a passing Volvo.

As per the article, Doniach was rushed to Dominican Hospital where he was later sadly pronounced deceased. As per the article, the victim died of blunt-force trauma and an aortic laceration.
