Yeah, this is as cool as it sounds. An anime based on the DC universe. Starting in Arkham, Gotham’s most notorious are transported back to feudal japan with the caped crusader and his sidekicks. It’s gorgeuos anime immersed in the ukiyo world, colorful and complex. The story gets absurd quickly SPOILER ALERT with giant transformer robots END SPOILER but it’s so visual, I didn’t care by then. It’s a Batman anime. Honestly what do you expect?  Swordfights? Oh hell yes! The finale is all swordfights - Lord Joker vs Batman Ninja - plus Two Face, Penguin, Poison Ivy, Deathstroke, Bane and Grood all have fight scenes. And who doesn’t want to see multiple throw downs between Harley Quinn & Catwoman? 

This is not something to watch for plot. It’s something to admire for stunning anime.
