A bunch of really good actors doing crappy Russian accents.  Russian hottie spy academy, but we all know now that real Russian spies are obese drunkards and skinny nerds trolling us on facebook.  Red Sparrow is kinda brutal in a cold frozen way.  Would you enjoy Charlotte Rampling ordering J-Law to give another student a blow job in front of the class?  Lots of nude J-Law but in a degrading scenes - watch her get raped, watch her get tortured, watch her get humiliated.  She does deliver a decent performance while the rest of the stellar cast act all cold Rusky stoic.  Some really sadistic stuff in here and a few gritty fights, including a decent sanguinous knife fight towards the end.  But long and drawn out, and kind of dumb.  I say 'nay'. So disappointing.
