His story is great, though not sure what he would have to say about Stro.
Needs more cowbells.
That is a great story. I only remember getting a “here’s something to watch out for” and a description of how to do this.
I had heard that Stro also had recommended on occasion the logical attack progression of #1: Cut balls. #2: Feint balls, cut head.
I also heard that the rule against deliberately cutting someone off target was a “Stro Rule”, but I cannot confirm this.

In the Tudor Period, Fencing Masters were classified in the Vagrancy Laws along with Actors, Gypsys, Vagabonds, Sturdy Rogues, and the owners of performing bears.
