I caught it on an airplane flight recently. The flight was a reroute to O'hare (when I should have been headed to Newark) and what a dismal outcome that was, a bit like being rerouted from purgatory through hell. Anyway we at least got those little mini-tv screens and I kept toggling back and forth between Casanova and The New World, hoping to catch fight scenes or some exposed chocolate chips. Oh right, it was a plane movie and they edit those. Neither film was really captivating for me and the screens kept getting interupted by turbulance. Oliver and Jeremy were the highlights for sure. Q'Orianka Kilcher was good, mostly because she had an interesting face, reminding me of Andie McDowell, or perhaps Maggie Q. Oh wait, wrong film. I liked Lena Olin, mainly because she was in Alias. Needed more sword fights. Then again, pretty much every movie could be improved with more sword fights, even King Kong.
