Scrooged (1988)
This has aged well. I didn't appreciate Bill Murray for years after SNL. I used to think he was just an over acting ham, but now I get that that is his schtick and he can really nail itI must have seen this when it came out and not again since. Scrooged is a role that only Murray could play and make work. The cameos are fun nostalgia and the ghosts are all spot on. One of the few decent roles for Bobcat and the only other role Karen Allen did that I remember beyond Indy, plus a young Wendie Malick, and so much more. When Bill awakens in the sewer and says 'Where am I? Trump tower?' it was prophetic.
Best of the season to you DOOM brothers! And god bless us every one.
