Caught this on pay per view with the wife, who wanted to see it. I was skeptical, but it was enjoyable. Sally Field is a low level office worker who has been taking care of her elderly mother, who has just died as the film starts. She is a hoarder and almost recluse. A new guy starts working at the office (the guy who plays Schmidt on New Girl) and she gets a crush on him. Mild hilarity ensues, and she starts to move on in her life in an ridiculous fashion. A star-studded cast of minor stars that you will recognize and all are pretty good. Tyne Daly is her good friend and they have a couple of touching scenes. There is some funny skewering of Brooklyn hipsters. Perhaps a bit unbelievable at the ending, but it was a nice happy ending, so I was okay with it. Maybe not great, but pleasant, so I was satisfied.
