HWY17 was a killer.  That Fit was a great car for commuting, but not if your commute is HWY17.  Came over during the thick of the storm last Tuesday.  In my old Fit, I would've been hanging on for dear life.  In my new CRV, it was pure luxury - warm, dry, secure, accelerating uphill into the storm even, with the stereo blaring.

I was driving 17 in a 1996 Honda Civic for years. I finally upgraded to a 2010 CRV. Trying to restore post-divorce credit, I was taking out a loan, so I splurged and got the heated seats with the fine corinthean leather. It's really a great commute car for 17, and I just noticed today that I've already paid off half of it.
