Warm Bodies
#1
Boy, can you see a lot of bad movies when you are crossing the Atlantic on Aer Lingus. Aer Lingus provide a little video screen where you can access about a dozen six month old movies. The beauty of the miniature TV monitor is it's execrable picture. Couple that with incredibly bad audio, on my headphones both sides worked depending on how hard my knee pressed against the jack, and you've got an experience destined to make you drive needles into your eyes.

Warm Bodies is the zombie film love story. And for the first ten minutes it was kind of fun as you see the world through the zombie's eyes. R (That is his name, more about that later) wanders through his day at the airport, meeting fellow Zombie, Rob Cordry, comments about the different types of Zombies and finally goes to get brains. On the brain hunt he falls for Julie which cause his heart to beat for the first time in a long time. He eats her boyfriend but saves her from the rest of the zombies.

And queue love story. It never goes much further than that. You watch R become more human and Julie discovers her love for the pale fellow. Hijinks ensue. Well they should have, but no so much. John Malkovich plays Julie's father and leader of the surviving humans. Naturally he does not approve of his daughter loving a zombie.

Okay, so his name is R. Her name is Julie. They come from differing groups that disapprove of the other group. Holy Crap, I'm watching Rome and Juliet for the brain eating age. And gag.
So much for the flickr badge idea. Dammit
