Ever wonder why Iceland's government collapsed and Greek citizens rioted about their government. Well Boomerang is the book for you. Lewis takes four examples, Greece, Iceland, Ireland and Germany, and tells how the availability of cheap credit in the early 2000's destroyed the economies and future well being of thee of these countries. It is one thing to hazily know that these countries are in trouble, it's another to get concrete examples of how bad things are for these countries. Ireland's problems are particularly egregious.
It was a good book for me to read to get a better understanding of the world wide debt crisis.
