Saw this on the plane. It got great reviews. It made a lot of money. It was supposed to be a festival of laughter.
Maybe it was late. Maybe I was tired. Maybe there is a different movie out there called Bridesmaids than the one I saw. I saw the unfunny stupid one. I reiterate my dislike for Kristin Wig. She is not the talent everyone says she is. Or maybe there are two Kristen Wigs and, again, I saw the unfunny one?
I think one of the key funny scenes was when all the SPOILER ALERT (But who cares, you won't see this) women get diarhea. some poop in the sink. Others poop in the middle of a busy street. Basically, it's poop.
To me it was a whine fest. And frankly, I don't like whine. It's about a girl who hits rock bottom only to find out it was a just a ledge and she still had more to go to reach the bottom. And at the end of the movie, she comes to grips with her bottomness. Yawn.
