DM does the 3-D. I do the non 3-D DVD review.
I kind of liked it. It was visually stunning. Part of the reason I liked it was my expectations were so low. The Fat Boys were good. Helena Bonham was good. It had been so long since I'd seen the trailer that I forgot about the bit with the pig ("Nothing like a good warm pig belly")
I thought they would wrap it up with bringing back the Dad. OOh, spoiler. Sorry. It's been a year. I want to know why everyone in Tim Burton films have to have the sunken eye make up as if everyone suffered from consumption.
The plot was very predictable. All the character arcs could be easily deduced. Except for the Mad Hatter. What was he supposed to be doing. All and all it was very pretty.
