There is a Dresden thread somewhere in here. If y'all haven't read them, they are really good fun. They start a little too wise-cracky but within a couple of books they start getting tighter and darker, with the humor being used to fend off depression and rage.
In the Tudor Period, Fencing Masters were classified in the Vagrancy Laws along with Actors, Gypsys, Vagabonds, Sturdy Rogues, and the owners of performing bears.
