Catching up on Neatorama

I've been (plucking an albatross?) trying to get a software release out the door. I'm sort of caught up, so I started to sleep again and when I'm not doing that, I've been catching up on blog posts from the last two weeks. Sorry if anyone's seen these already...here are some of the highlights:
