Pleasant "day in the life" from Yeti liked peeps
Yeah right we all make jerky when our spouses are away.

Took my last class at the green yoga studio where we’ve been temporarily housed until the new place opens this week. Did some grocery shopping, started laundry, now having a second breakfast for lunch. I plan to do some online Xmas shopping, make Xmas cards, write a bit (an intro to my 2nd snake piece came to me during my rain drive from sf yesterday. Need to get Yuki out for some exercise. He’s been cooped up for the last few days and had a rough Friday night because of the thunder.

Walked the dogs. Loaded the car for the trip to Arcadia. I'm bringing some new toys just to spice things up. Did laundry. Wrote more questions and recorded more audio.

Finished making jerky before the Queen returns tonight.
As a matter of fact, my anger does keep me warm

Do you even hear yourself anymore?

This is one of many reasons why I stopped milking the iron crotch. Too easy to contract fire sickness from it.

Happy shooting.

I've got the usual Monday morning grind, coupled with holiday shopping and related errands.

Back at work, but only until the end of the week. Then two weeks off.

Did not make the Yeti Xmas - I am still sick with whatever I caught at Thanksgiving and was afraid I might pass it on being in such close quarters. The middle of the day is prime foul nasal discharge time.

Day Two of Round Two with GM Tu. Get to redo some of the interview then it will Tu doing his exercise routine and finish with some calligraphy. I'll also photograph more of Tu's paintings.

Sorry to miss you, but thank you for your consideration. The weans at the fencing club are not so nice -- filthy little disease vectors.

Get them to wear masks.

Oh wait, never mind.

Just got through my morning telemeet. I have another in a bit but it'll be short (hopefully). Then I'm over to svale early to meet with an electrician. Then a mom visit. Sorting odd work items in between, as always, plus holiday stuffs (bah humbug).

Last day of finals today, so gradually moving into vacation mode.

I blame the kids too - I'm sure I got it from my nephew's youngest (2yo) who was open mouth coughing all over the place.

Kids are disgusting and should be banned.

Didja ever think you mighta made the wrong career choice? Getting stabbed by disgusting kids professionally?

It’s bumming me out seeing so many friends retiring while I see no end to the work. Writing the way I do was a bad choice in retrospect. But we soldier on…

Gotta do some cleaning here tomorrow then head home. Then work. Then I began night 1 of a 5 night yoga intensive at the newly established Yoga Center which is a short walk from our bungalow. I’m excited and concerned because I’ve been grappling with a hip strain I picked up in iaido - all that pouncing up from kneeling in seiza is getting challenging for me in my advanced years. Gotta christen the new space with some samsara burning plus prepare for our return to Mar de Jade in a few weeks.

Plus I gotta Xmas shop. Bah!
