Of course!
Fennec was after Omega’s bounty in a previous season so there’s backstory between her and the batch.

And so falls Kamino.
Rough episode. The Bad Batch is Star Wars PTSD.

Ignore the post above. That was the conclusion to season 2, which I completely forgot. Musta been that edible.
E9 reveal the M-count and I was spot on in my guess at the beginning of the season. What was great was who revealed it - Asajj Ventress - a character from the Clome Wars that I’d love to see manifested in live action. She’s a witch of dathomir with a golden lightsaber, almost a force dyad with Ashoka. And she resolves the midichlorian b.s., quite elegantly, saying they are believed to impact force sensitivity but everyone has some and it’s the training that’s key.
Good ep - pulled a lot of odd things together.

Double ep drop today!
E10 - Cad Bane! One of the most despicable bounty hunters kidnaps babies that have a significant M-count. The rest of the ep returns to Omega’s big sister clone, Dr Emerie Karr, who seems on the verge of going over to the light side.
E11 - The Batch is busted. Wrecker is knocked out by an explosion. Hunter falls out of a ship. Omega turns herself in hoping Crosshair can stick a tracker on the ship, but he’s interrupted by stormtroopers and misses the shot.
4 eps left…

12: Omega returns to Tantiss and is placed in confinement with the other high M count alien kids. I think she’s going to get them to revolt. Meanwhile the Batch break a disgraced imperial general out of a work camp jail because he might know where Tantiss is.
A bit of a filler ep. 3 more to go.

13: The penultimate ep. Everyone is on Tantiss for the jail break, which will be the finale. Echo may turn Emerie. I anticipate another major death.

Finale: That was sweet. A peaceful ending where the ptsd ridden troopers finally break their cycle of violence. No major revelations to the overarching story arc but a happy resolution to the tribulations of the batch.
I was somewhat right about the major death. The villains get it (except for Tarkin but we know he survives because BB predates E-IV). Nala Se goes out like the heroine she is taking all her science with her, depriving the Empire of project Necromancer.
And the epilogue left the door open for a new series with an adult Omega headed off to join the rebellion. I could see this become a live action mini - an adult Omega has such potential.
The Bad Batch wasn’t my fav SW series. It wasn’t even one of the top ones for me. But it had its moments and I’m glad to have watched it. That being said, if you’re going to nerd out on some SW animations, go with Visions or Rebels before this. Those have quicker payouts.
