I had one that was good and one that was so bad I used it for a joke gift.

Good luck!

And nothing can ever be the same.

One out of three telemeets done. Hoping there's a break in the rain for Yuki's afternoon outing. Then Iaido. And then maybe some saunaing.

I have a movie to finish tonight (fell asleep after last night's birthday dinner at Lillians - Prawns diavola FTW - and then some saunaing) - one that's going well and that all of D00M wants to see.

I'm adding a Friday morning yoga class to my weekly curriculum. It's cuz I'm old now and must take better care.

The rest of today is work and Yuki outing. Typical Friday.

Kung Fu and then I’m to be the subject of a photo shoot by a local artist friend, assuming the weather holds.

Today is a repeat of yesterday swapping Kung Fu for yoga. Yesterday’s workout sucked. The rain was making my joints ache and I never quite warmed up. Then I torqued my right hip in tai chi (that sounds dumb because tai chi is soft, but it was a move in my tai yu sword form which involves a lot of one legged balance). I worked yesterday as a swap for this upcoming week; I was supposed to work today. Then the rain (tornado warning - always exciting to hear the emergency broadcast signal) shut down our photo shoot, so we’re trying again today. Should be fun. It’s for an old friend from MQ6 who has retired (we’re the same age and I’m no where near retiring). She’s taken up painting and photography and is making quite a name for herself locally. We ran into her a few weeks ago when we tried a new local restaurant (she lives in our hood).

Heading to the big town to pick up my computer, for which they did not find a problem. Then off to the Home Despot to see if they have in-season fence pickets.

Leaving work at 11:30 to go home and meet the plumber. The toilet and tub are draining poorly, and water is seeping out around the toilet in the garage. It seems like a problem with the main drain line. Hopefully it can be resolved without too much digging. We had the drain line from the house to the sewer replaced years ago, but there is a big tree in the parking strip. I'm hoping that's not the problem.

Well it's pretty grotty, and already was when we moved in. We only used it when we had the house bathroom redone just after we moved in. Since then it's gone unused. I flush it occasionally. The water line into the tank developed a leak last year and I replaced it, but it fills really slow; I think there's some rust in the pipe. I should have replaced the float valve at the same time but didn't notice it was crappy until after I had the water line installed and then I just didn't want to do any more work. I imagine it has never been set quite right - that was the case with the house toilet too. We had to replace a big chunk of the floor there.

I recant my posh comment and commend you for bringing grotty back. We don’t even have a garage.
