1034:351- Had to get up early on the day after world whiskey day to do an interview for YMAA. Bother. Then work all day as a swap for next weekend, with a break for yoga and laundry. 

Shouldn't the day after World Whiskey Day be "Stay in bed and nurse hangover" Day?

Saturday was a work day, but not a teaching day, so home and then to H’s for the weekend. Sushi dinner, then swearing constantly as we made our way through the heavy blowing cold fog to our local for a beer & Scotch.

Sunday was sleep late (H had been up very early all week) then meet a friend for brunch in my neighborhood. Nice French place run by nice French people. Went for a walk, then back to H’s. Chill while H works on a story for next week’s Moth in Berkeley, then out for a longer walk & a beer. Now back in H’s nest while she is prepping a light meal for us. Sundays are enforced slow days.

1035:352: one telemeet, work, get my oil changed.

Oil changed. It's so convenient to have a Big O in walking distance. Got in there early and they were slow so I had just enough time to walk home, pet Yuki, and then I had to walk back. There was even enough time to make a quick grocery stop because I'm out of mouthwash, and that's essential for a campout, especially with the nortryp that I'm on because it gives me wicked cotton mouth.

Our yardworkeys like to come right in the middle of my Monday telemeet. But for some reason, the boss man didn't ope up the telemeet. I've been emailing with our IT guy (in Portugal) and postulated that the home office got stomped by Godzilla. Won't the yardworkers be disappointed...

Went for coffee. Went to Costco to switch our phones to T-Mobile - cheaper plan, plus you get a Costco gift card, and right now 50% off a new phone - but have to go back because the Costco T-Mobile guy wasn't in, and we needed him to waive the $70 xfer fee. Plus I had to go home to get online and unlock my phone.

RZA was great. He spent a good 20 mins with me & Tara. Tara was Star struck as this is the biggest celeb she’s met. More later but I changed my profile pic on Facebook with one of the photos.
