Sheltering in Place

Dude came out hot & heavy and is 10 years younger and 2" taller than our guy. Our guy was still tired from scraping out a victory in the previous bout.

I just moved my desk about a foot further from the windows to avoid the chill from them. It seems to be working. Easier to move around behind my chair but I feel like I'm in the middle of the room. Going over to run the lab this afternoon and I've got some paper to lasercut.

Junior Olympic prep continues, much more repair work today, intense lessons tonight, and a tendonitis flare-up to ease things along.

I would recommend an entirely different therapy for your glauc.  Sure, it’s been disproven but I’ve been using it for years and I don’t have glauc.

The bump in font size is a result of cut&pasting my countdown when I’m too lazy to remember the numbers and add 1 to each. Does it bug you? Oh well…

946.263: Stacy’s birthday. We got up early and took the 1 to SF (gorgeously clear). We got to Tara’s and grabbed coffee at Coffee Movement (my first time - so good - gotta respect a cafe that offers a tasting flight) then Tara and I drove to Potrero hill to pick up the organic gf cake whilst Stacy took Yuki & Bottles to the GGP dog park. When we returned, we did a 7 mile loop in the presidio starting at the golf course, to the dog park, past the lake, through Baker’s beach, under the GG, past Marina green, past the Disney museum & the Inn, then back to our point of origin. It was spectacular fun.

But when we got back to the car, I had a wicked attack of leg cramps. Yeah, I haven’t been hiking much, wasn’t drinking enough water, and have been having some possibly diabetic related leg & foot cramp issues. But these were super intense - crazy painful.

I don’t know what’s happening with my font size. Does it bug you? Oh well…

We got back to Tara’s and I struggled with her 3 flights of stairs. I checked my liephone pedometer and it was so excited that I got off my ass that it gave me a fireworks display - apparently I have had a decent hike since November. This was 7.3 miles & 42 floors.

Then we grabbed dinner at Lokma - just appetizers. I had the calamari because I figured eating a lot of legs would cure my cramps (I know I know - those are tentacles. Same diff). They were truly scrumptious. That place is delish.

Then it was cake and presents. The cake was a hit - almond honey which paired well with the dinner plates.

a splendid time was had by all.

Mrs. DM has a Valentine Birthday? Or have I lost a day? Again?

Funny, I was just thinking last night that Ms. JB (nee B) is an Aquarius.

I'm surprised every Valentine's Day that it is also Ms. JB's B-day. I really need to work on my long term memory.

949.266- I missed yesterday. Friday was just work & dog park. Today is Kung Fu & dog park. My outer left shin still aches from the hiking cramps.

My social life revolves around the dog park.

I spent almost three hours clearing brush and then setting it on fire. My body now refused to operate.

Brace up Greg!

Went to the Mountain View Library book sale. Usually it's pretty good, but this time it was small. I did get a CD that I can turn a profit on. Then we went to Yamagami's to buy an apple tree. I'm pulling out the pomegranate and putting that in. I might do the planting tomorrow.

Had a nice day of spontaneous activities. Diner breakfast with friend, Surprise East Bay trip, unplanned stroll around Lake Merritt with spontaneous beer, off-the-cuff tapas/sangria in the old WBFC ‘hood instead of sitting in stopped traffic on bridge. Just a good day of heads-up play while not being in a hurry. First good day for H in 3 weeks. 10/10, no notes

Nice. I disassembled a table and built a new one. The old table which we inherited from professor Shahar when he and his family returned to Israel is really nice but ultimately too big for our tiny bungalow so im putting it in storage at my mom’s house. The new table is tiny but room for both of us in the kitchen nook.
