With the earlier cameo of Kanen, it seems that Bad Batch is about linking the various franchise. We've already seen Saw Gerrara who links Clone Wars, Rebels and Rogue One, and Tarkin from A New Hope, et.al.
This does mean that Fennec is older than Boba Fett. It starts shortly after Order 66 and Boba is only a wee lad at that time. Fennec is a full grown bad ass in this ep4 (Temuera is 3 years older than Ming-na in our world).
And yes, Ming-na voices it - from her IMDb:
Quote:Star Wars: The Bad Batch (TV Series)
Fennec Shand
- Cornered (2021) ... Fennec Shand (voice)
Also from her IMDb:
Quote:The Book of Boba Fett (TV Series) (post-production)
Fennec Shand
- Episode #1.2 (2021) ... Fennec Shand
- Episode #1.1 (2021) ... Fennec Shand

E5: Forget Baby Yoda. It’s all about Baby Rancor.
At first, I was bummed because I assumed the rancor’s fate but it turns out it’s a different rancor. Thanks Den, for setting me straight.

E6: Another mediocre ep although I liked the appearance of the Martez sisters from Clone Wars. I always thought of their story as an irrelevant filler side arc for Ashoka and I'm more pleased that I recognized the Easter egg than anything else. Their droid, R7, maybe Ashoka's. So that teases Ashoka and she's one of my fav characters. Fingers crossed.
And who are the Martez sisters working for? Oh please, please, please let it be Maul.

E7: Rex. Another Clone Wars/Rebels cameo. Not much happens really. A filler Ep. I suppose the plot focus was important but it was told in such a lackluster way. But still, good to see Rex again.
These eps are too short to get much done storywise.

E8: Cad Bane - yeah, I confess I had to look him up. I recognized him faintly and thought he was from Clone Wars (he is).
The series continues to plod forward but the Batch lack camaraderie and chemistry. It’s not quite working for me but with only a 20+ min investment per Ep, I’m still watching it.
I’m also disappointed that there are no lightsabers - same issue I had with Solo. Star Wars demands lightsabers in my way of thinking.

E9: Finally back to Fennec. It's been like Clone War cameo of the week so far. Nice for one of those cameos to reoccur. The big reveal about what's up with Omega (although we kinda guessed it would be something along those lines).
With Fennec's involvement, this is setting up The Book of Boba Fett.

No one is happier to be in the Star Wars universe than Ming Na Wen.
As a matter of fact, my anger does keep me warm

The force is with her, more so than with Cara...

...or a Trumper. She was the biggest star that I fell out with over politics so far, although Eastwood is up there too. But I've never met Eastwood.

E10: filler Ep. Didn’t really move much forward. No cool cameos that I noticed. Entertaining tho, mostly because it’s short.

E11: For Bad Batchers, this ep will feel like a weird tangent. But for Rebels, it's awesome. It's the creation story of Hera, a lead in Rebels and introduces Chopper, the sassiest droid in the galaxy. It recalls how this series began but goes much deeper...

That prolly means nothing to any of you because none of you watched Rebels. But that was my fav animated Star Wars series so this revelation is huge.
...I need to dig back into Rebels. Now that I have a lightsaber, I should learn the basic Jedi form. That was demonstrated in Star Wars Rebels: S3.E14 Trials of the Darksaber.
I must rewatch that.

E12 is part 2 of the previous Ep. This is a good bridge between Clone Wars & Rebels but if you’ve not seen either, it’s just another Ep.

E13: filler Ep. I’m sure there are plenty of Easter eggs that I didn’t find but this Ep did little to advance the story arc and was overall superfluous.

E14: I suspect this Ep is lining up the finale. Ends in a cliffhanger.
