Wow. Ubud is one of my fav places in the world. Such a magical village. Stacy and I spent several days there. I remember thinking it was paradise. I wouldn't need much there - any job to make room & board - and I would be happy.

I don't remember any theaters but it was a long time ago. It was a small enchanting jungle village back then populated by artists of all sorts. Stacy had been there before and said it was already built up. I can't imagine it now.

Congrats - this is AWESOME.

I wish I was there.

It's a little confusing. I think the name of the theater is Paradiso Ubud. But I'm not sure.

We were there in ‘97. It remains one of my favorite places of all.

It's Double Laurel Day! And as we all know, it's just not official without Laurels.

Chambal is the first denoted 2021?  Just wondering.

Again, congrats on these.  India and Bali.  You're going all exotic on us at this stage.

Yes, Chambal doesn't screen until April. The 4th Dimension festival will be the last one this year.

And thankfully, because I hadn't heard back from 4th Dimension, they were able to download the film. Especially since the festival starts in just a couple of hours.

I don't know why this small festival in Bali is giving me such joy, but it is. It's exciting to think that something that we put together is being seen by people in Indonesia in a few days. I wonder what they are going to make of it all. It's also the only feature playing on that night. I'm digging it.

Because Bali is super cool. And the coolest village on Bali is Ubud.

Congrats on India too. That's jolly good.

You're retracing our '97 trip. You just need to add Thailand and Singapore.

Happy Validation Day! Today I'm supposed to hear from the Malta Film Festival. I have some hope for this festival as they invited me to be part of their online festival back in August. I had to decline because it would interfere with the Warsaw Premiere. But I told them I would be all in for this event. We shall see.

Gil Eisner, who was in the film and I thought wanted nothing to do with the project. I emailed him a couple of times to no response. Last week he emailed me saying he'd like to see the film and needed the password. I sent it to him. He's now seen the film three times according to the Analytics.

As predicted, Stro:TMDS has been selected for the Malta Film Festival. It will stream Jan 9.

Yes, I entered this festival because I have read a lot about the crusades, the Knights Templar and the Siege of Malta. I read a book about the siege upon recommendation from the Yeti during his previous life as a book slinger.

Some days are better than others.

Out of the blue, I got mention on FB that the Utah Film Festival and Awards mentioned Stro:TMDS. They had put up a short review on their Facebook Page about Stro along with the media pictures. The kicker is, I have not been selected to their festival. They don't announce until March. But here they are putting up a nice review. It gives me a bit of a warm feeling inside. I don't know if they will accept Stro:TMDS but it looks promising. And the festival is late enough that maybe I could possibly attend......

Because the film is being streamed through Vimeo, I can see who is watching Stro:TMDS today. And yes I'm clicking refresh on the site like a lunatic.

So far at least 15 people have looked at it and 6 people have actually finished. 2 people have seen it 4 times in North Carolina. I don't know what is going on there.

No one has seen it in Malta.

What time is it in Malta?
In the Tudor Period, Fencing Masters were classified in the Vagrancy Laws along with Actors, Gypsys, Vagabonds, Sturdy Rogues, and the owners of performing bears.
