Happy Validation Day. The Cyrus Monthly Film Festival has changed the status of Stro: TMDS to 'Selected'. I think this means the movie now goes into a pool from which they select the monthly winner.

And as I write this I received another email directly from CiFT (not via Film Freeway) It is a monthly festival. The winner of the monthly can go onto the big yearly festival. The winner of the monthly will be announced on Dec 12, 2020.

Happy Awards Day! Today the Los Angeles Motion Picture Film Festival will be announcing the best film from their festival. LAMP didn't have any screenings. They just judge the films and hand out the trophies. And since LAMP seems to be in the business of selling trophies, listed on their website for $80, I'm pretty sure Stro:TMDS will get an award of some kind. LAMP has tons of categories and three levels for each category.

Cynical? Moi? Pretty much. I didn't realize that was the deal when I entered LAMP, but here we are.
