223: dog training class & the usual workload. Not going to my moms today because tomorrow we’re taking Yuki to be fixed and it’s early in SF. We were going to make a day of it but I now have a commitment for an important ymaa telemeeting.

Assuming of course all hell doesn’t break loose today. Never experienced an election like this before. I was hoping our autumn years would be mellower.

224: Slept poorly last night. Thought about posting about it several times but I've already used 75% of my data for the month (my plan flips on the 15th) and I can't always hit my wifi from my bed. It was too cold to get up. 

The fire alarm went off randomly at around 6. These stupid fire alarms. Our property manager shifted to these lifetime alarms but they don't shut off and go off randomly sometimes. I crushed one already (and need to replace that). I think our neighbor already replaced all of theirs. 

Today Yuki gets neutered. We woke early because Stacy had to hit the road at 6:30am and Yuki was like 'where's breaky? wtf?' Because we got Yuki from a shelter in SF, the neutering service is up there. Stacy may stay or may come home, depending upon how long it takes. If she comes home, I'll go back to pick him up. Poor pup.

I have an important telemeeting in less than an hour. It's the quarterly for YMAA where all of full-time staff attends. It was an option for me to attend, but I'm hoping to become one of them, so I'm in.

Then later today, I'm thinking a nap. I need to write too. I always need to write nowadays.

225: YMAA telemeeting, tasks for the big 3 (YMAA, KFM & Den). Kung Fu tonight.

226: Still got work for the big 3. This week has been exhausting. On top of the election, Yuki getting neutered has been a challenge. He's back to his old spunk already, now knocking over everything with his cone. Plus we can't take him to the dog park to get his wrestling out.

227: Kung Fu in a bit. Then work for all 4 jobs.

228: Well, I got very little work done yesterday but I did take Yuki for a nice walk and my hood was full of happiness - like people dancing in the street happiness. That was nice.

So today is back to the grindstones, plus laundry and maybe an epsom salt bath.

230: Got a bit ahead on Den just now, but hope to get more ahead. The TCE0C for KFM is progressing but slowly. It's kinda in their court now, which might muck it up a bit. Got some leads for YMAA - nice to have some progress. Off to my mom's tonight. She's called me twice about her backyard fence - same exact conversation which is worrisome that she doesn't quite remember the first. Apparently the fence is wiggling and she thinks we can repair it by adding cement at the base. I don't know about that.

Better grindstones than millstones.
