Okay. Surprise, sort of, Validation. The LA Live FilmFest did indeed select Stro for their festival. They just need to work on scheduling their emails. Now, they want me to create a cool Electronic Press Kit for them. Great.
Portland in the dark of night, pushed their Validation Date to tomorrow. Also in the dark of night, and by that, I mean just as I was going to sleep around 9, Marina Del Rey pushed out an email with a few more details about when and where to catch Stro on Roku. I think.

There was just a comment on the WCFA suggesting HK should do more research about Michael D'Asaro so he can learn about Neil Diamond and how D'Asaro got a Tracheotomy during one of his lessons.

Amused by the LA tribal laurels. Looks like a few tramp stamps I've seen... Still bummed I didn't share my Stro Trach story. I can still see him reinacting what happened when he retold that story to us in the courtyard outside the SJSU salle. Congrats on another win, Greg. You're killin it.

I asked for those laurels special. They break up the regimentation of the Film freeway de rigueur laurels.
Someone is always holding back on the stories is what I've come to realize. I'm currently struggling to put together an Electronic Press Kit for the LA festival. It's what they want.

Happy Validation Day. Happy Festival Day. Happy Festival Day, again.
Still waiting to hear from Portland. I don't know why they would push the notification when they are scheduled to start on Monday. i don't know how they expect to get all their materials on time if they tell someone they are accepted today. The Marina Del Rey FF starts today on Roku, which I don't have and I'm not planning to get. I was under the impression that Roku was going away but they had their best growth ever last year so what do I know. Today is also the start of the Warsaw IFF. So, sadness. Stro screens in an actual theater next Wednesday, then again on Saturday and Sunday. I'll be really curious to see if anybody shows up to see it. The festival keeps taunting me on Instagram by telling me where I can show up to get a physical program. I've sent an email requesting some to no response. Meanwhile back to making the Electronic Press Kit for LA Live.

Despite the fact the Portland Film Festival is still talking about doing Final Notifications today, they already have all the films they will be showing on their website. At least that is what it looks like to me.

I guess the fates have decided to take a little sting out of the Portland Decision. To be fair, this is kind of a trophy festival. At the end of the festival, you can buy a trophy if you are a winner. I think everybody gets to be a winner. I'll take it. This will be number 10. I've made it into double digits.
