The Friday morning Double rejection. AFI Fest has said no and in a surprise early notification, Dublin Independent has also said no. I guess I'm not going to get into the rest of the festivals after all.

Make that triple rejection. It's the Friday where no one wanted me. The Raindance Documentary Festival out of London has declined as well. To be clear, no one in England or Ireland has screened the film according to the Vimeo Analytics. Although, AFI did have to go through 3000 films.

The San Diego International Film Festival has pushed their notification to next Wednesday. This means tomorrow will not be a validation day after all. What will I do with all my time?

Do what you usually do: Farm cats, shake your fist at the sky, make jerky while muttering darkly to yourselves. Pet the dogs.
In the Tudor Period, Fencing Masters were classified in the Vagrancy Laws along with Actors, Gypsys, Vagabonds, Sturdy Rogues, and the owners of performing bears.
Happy World Premiere Day! It's been a long trip. I hope it reaches a few people beyond my mother and her circle.
I've been hitting the social media sites promoting the movie. On the FB page of US Fencing-Veterans, one gentleman responded he sat at a table with D'Asaro at the last Reno Nationals who was with some young fencer. The gentleman watched as D'Asaro proceeded to get hammered. This man had no desire to see a movie about him. I thought fair enough. Somebody else responded that the last Reno Nationals was in 2011, so it couldn't have been him. The gentleman responded well what are the chances there are two D'Asaro's that coach fencing? Ummm, dammit Junior.

I'm struggling to upload a film for the mystery eastern european festival. You know which one. Because I have been selected I'm allowed to post my film in the European Film Market called Cinando. Well, I would post if I didn't have the slowest internet speed in the world. Which is not helped by the fact I have clouds filled with particulate matter between my satellite dish and the satellite.
It's crashed three times. I thought I was going to get the film uploaded over night because the upload was beginning to accelerate. My computer decided that overnight was a great time to upgrade. I'm trying for the fourth time now.

I don't suppose you could become a beta tester for Starlink...
Just bought a viewing of Stro from BFF. Had tried multiple times before to buy the Sunday slate, but it's never been possible, or the links and navigation make it so. Wouldn't have minded checking out some other documentaries and foreign films today. Will watch this final version of Stro later today. All in all, this online BFF seems a very viewer-unfriendly site. The ticket agreement is near impenetrable legalese saying what you can't do, but never actually says what you're entitled to. Then again, to BFF's credit, they salvaged their festival for the year. This coronavirus was unpresidented (not a misspelling).

Starlink FEH!
The confusion about the blocks of documentaries was mine. They were actually selling a block of short films that you could buy and I misread that to mean a block of documentaries. The only way to see all the films was to buy the VIP pass. My question though is whether the single film purchasers can vote for the audience award? And the vote button is in a bad spot. You have to scroll down below the film information to see it. Thank you, CF for purchasing. I hope you enjoy it. At least you can annoy DM and the Yeti about their star turns. But didn't you see it already when I posted the link?

We'll see if I get that option. I did consider going all in, purchasing an all-pass, but lost track of the time, and only yesterday realized BFF was well underway. Even then, I considered paying for all, but couldn't find any information on whether that would allow me to watch films of previous days. Will let you know whether I'm allowed to vote.

You have 90 days to watch all the films after the festival.

It's kind of a bad thing. Why should another Festival show your film if it's playing already somewhere else?
